Linkki’s board game + crafts evening + coffee and buns 16.3. @ Agora

To celebrate our anniversary, in addition to board games and a craft night, we’ll be hosting a small coffee and bun reception in honor of our 20-year-old association.

Buns and coffee will be served at Kattila (Ag B102) starting at 4:00 PM, after which you are welcome to continue with board games or the craft night, whichever you prefer. Details regarding these activities will be announced later on Linkki’s communication channel.

Treat appro 18.3.

The most delicious event of the spring is just around the corner!

Jyväskylä’s interdisciplinary Treatappro event returns on Wednesday, March 18, when students will fill the city center as they hunt for “appro” stamps at a variety of delicious cafés and restaurants.

St Paddy’s pub crawl 19.3. @ Downtown Jyväskylä

Has it been too long since your last appro? Are you ready to celebrate St Patrick’s Day while visiting the bars of the centre of Jyväskylä? If your answer is yes, you’re in luck, as St Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl is here again on Thursday, March 19th 🍀 This year ESN and Syrinx are joining Magna Carta in hosting the event and everyone else has been invited, students and non-students alike!

St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl aka Paddy’s is a traditional appro event where you tour different checkpoints in the form of bars and other establishments. However, Paddy’s differs from other appros in that patches are given out according to your participation year and not the number of stamps you have gathered. Thus, you can tour as much or as little as you want! You can also get a bonus patch by performing different tasks during the night 👀

We will start giving out the maps in Teerenpeli from 4 PM onwards. More information about the schedule and other details can be found on Kide.app.

Linkki’s 20th anniversary gala and herring breakfast 20. - 21.3. @ Kulttuurisuoja + Majakoski

Linkki Jyväskylä ry will celebrate its 20th anniversary on Friday, March 20, 2026. The evening celebration will be held in Jyväskylä at the Kulttuurisuoja banquet hall, located at Kilpisenkatu 8, 40100 Jyväskylä.

The evening celebration will be held in accordance with academic banquet traditions, beginning at 6:00 PM. The dress code for the evening celebration is a tailcoat/dark suit or evening gown, accompanied by academic honors. Following the anniversary celebration, the festivities will continue starting at 11:00 PM in Jyväskylä’s nightlife scene.

The day after the annual celebration, a traditional herring breakfast will be held at the Majakoski banquet hall. The first bus to the breakfast leaves at 11:30 a.m. from the Travel Center and will also pick up passengers at the Agora bus stop along the way. If you buy a ticket for the first bus, the return bus leaves Majakoski at 6:00 PM. The second bus departs from the Travel Center at 12:30 PM and returns from Majakoski at 7:00 PM.

There will be some drinks available at the party, but you’re welcome to bring your own. There’s also a sauna and hot tubs at the venue, so be sure to bring a swimsuit and a towel, as the saunas will be open on a rotating basis throughout the party.

Invited guests, as well as Linkki members and alumni with their guests, are welcome to the annual party.
