Crafts w/ Natural Sciences 13.4. 6pm - 8pm @ Teerenpeli

May Day is right around the corner and now is the moment to make sure overalls are ready for it! Come to sew your patches to your overalls with Linkeens and Natural Sciences in Craft Club.

Craft Club will be held on Monday 13.4. at Teerenpeli starting at 6pm.

Let’s together make sure everyone’s overalls are ready! There will be snacks too.

Toga party w/ Ynnä & Stimulus 14.4. from 5pm -> @ Ilokivi Venue

Do you often feel like you were born in the wrong era? Do you think the Roman Empire a bit too often? Now you have the chance to get back to the time when everything was better, because Linkki, Stimulus and Ynnä are hosting a TOGA PARTY! So wrap yourself in a toga and come party with us like in ancient times!

Toga party will be held on Tuesday 14.4. from 5 PM in Ilokivi Venue. The ticket costs 5 € and it includes an overall patch.

There will be ancient-themed activities, like blind tasting and grape eating contest, as well as modern activities like bingo and a quiz. The best toga will be rewarded, so use your imagination!

Dumppi’s Vappuappro 15.4. from 4pm -> @ Downtown Jyväskylä

VappuAppro is taking over Jyväskylä again on April 15, 2026! The interdisciplinary VappuAppro is a traditional student event where participants tour Jyväskylä’s restaurants and activities, collecting stamps in their activity pass and enjoying the May Day atmosphere together with friends. The event starts at Lounaispuisto, where event passes and after-party wristbands will be distributed in exchange for advance tickets from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The tour can be completed between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM.

Once the activity pass is full, it is returned to the proctor at the after-party venues, Club Escape or London, where the party continues until the wee hours of the morning. In addition, Gloria serves as a non-after-party venue. A patch is awarded for a successful completion. Get ready for an unforgettable evening filled with student culture, fun, and May Day spirit—you won’t want to miss this!

Marathon sitsfest w/ Puolue, Mephisto, Fokus, Parku & Pedago 18.4. from 1pm -> @ Ilokivi Venue

Ready for the long run? Do sitsfests always end too early? Did your favourite song not make it? No longer! Sitsfest should be a marathon, not a sprint.

We welcome you to Marathon sitsfest at Ilokivi Venue on April 18th from 1pm onwards. The sitsfest will be interdisciplinary and the following student organizations are participating: Fokus, Linkki, Mephisto, Parku, Pedago and Puolue. To make sure the theme doesn’t get boring Marathon sitsfest will be split into three different themes.

The themes are:

Nowhere to wear
Finnish memes
Sports

The ticket includes entry to the whole marathon sitsfest, half a pizza, an overall patch and some snacks. The event is BYOB so bring your own drinks.

The event follows JYY’s safer space principles, and by attending you commit to following them. Equality officers will be present throughout the whole event and will be available if needed. An anonymous harassment contact form will also be made available.

ACCESSIBILITY: The premises of the Student House Ilokivi were renovated in 2017 to be accessible, and there is an elevator between the floors of the buildings with the assistance of staff. The restaurant on street level and the Venue downstairs both have a toilet with wheelchair access and grab bars.
