Board games at Teerenpeli w/ Sane & Corpus 20.4. from 6pm -> @ Teerenpeli

Three amazing student associations are coming together to celebrate Vappu by organizing a board game night! What could be better? 🤩✨

The casual board game night organized by Sane, Corpus, and Linkki Jyväskylä ry is held at Teerenpeli on Monday, 20.4.2026 at 18 onwards! The event is free of charge, and all you need to bring is yourself to enjoy games and great company ❤️

Accessibility ❤️: Teerenpeli is a bar located on Kauppakatu, and it is not fully accessible. There are raised platforms at the front door and when entering the back of the bar space, both of which can be moved over on a wheelchair with some assistance. Drinks can be served to tables in case moving to the bar counter is difficult. Some parts of the space may be narrow than others due to how tables are arranged, but there are also more spacious spots. There is an accessible women’s bathroom at the front of the bar that can be accessed at any point during the event. The lighting is static and warm, and the music is usually not too loud. There may be a mild smell of cigarettes, which may be uncomfortable for those that are sensitive to scents.

Stinks outside w/ Stimulus 21.4. 4pm - 8pm @ Mattilanniemi

Spring is coming….. What might be revealed from beneath the melted snow…? Well, it turns out—it’s STINKS OUTSIDE STINKS (Stimulus + Linkki) will be OUTSIDE on April 21st, when Linkki and Stimulus gather at Mattilanniemi Park starting from 4 PM! Spring is in the air, and the event will support our wellbeing with various wellness activity stations, a tent sauna, and some free grilled food!

Will you bring the heat and take the win in mölkky, or are you perhaps an outdoor painting enthusiast? Do you dare to take your first dip of the season and dip your feet into Lake Jyväsjärvi? Will you wash away your worries and sweat in the tent sauna? Or are you craving some peaceful hammock lounging in the spring sunshine? Wanna sip some sima while doing yoga? Does the air smell like spring—or grilled sausages? Come and see for yourself by signing up! Be quick, as spots are limited! ;) The event includes free grilled food, painting supplies, access to the tent sauna, and awesome wellness activity stations!

You’re welcome to attend completely alcohl-free, or bring a few drinks if you like—so drinks are BYOB. Let’s keep things fun and moderate so everyone can enjoy themselves.

Throwing carnival 22.4. 4pm -> @ Agora backyard

May Day celebrations continue with the traditional Throwing Carnival! So it’s time to dig out your old IT junk (laptops 💻, power supplies 🔋, mice (🐭👎, 🖱👍), hard drives 💾, floppy disks 💿, whatever else you feel like throwing) out of your closets and put them to good use—that is, throw them away, quite literally.

At the Throwing Carnival, you’ll compete against other techies in throwing various useless electronic gadgets. Come join us to relieve your stress, and bring your unwanted IT gear! Linkki also has some junk to throw if you don’t have any of your own.

Jyväsmetro 23.4. 4pm -> @ Jyväskylä and neighboring municipalities Just before May Day, it’s time to introduce students to the restaurant scene of the Jyväskylä area with Jyväsmetro!

In this most energetic pre-Vappu event, we’ll hop on the “metro” from Mattilanniemi and set off to enjoy authentic suburban culture with great company, smiles on our faces, and the spring sun in our hearts.

On the buses, travel comfort and a top-tier atmosphere are ensured by skilled and friendly guides. The afterparty will once again be held at Escape, where we’ll be entertained with live music.

Hiking in Haukanniemi w/ Radikaali, Nano & Syrinx 25.4. 1pm -> @ Haukanniemi

Walk and barbecue at Haukanniemi on Saturday, April 25

Bring good walking shoes and a roasting stick, because we’re heading with Linkki, Nano, Radikaali, and Syrinx to the Haukanniemi lean-to shelter to enjoy the spring weather!

At Haukanniemi, you can grill sausages, but it’s also a good idea to bring your own food and drinks. Dress according to the weather and feel free to bring something warm to drink or other snacks ☕️🫖

We’ll depart together from Agora/Rentukka?? at 13:00, but you can also head there on your own. The possibility of skating will be checked before the event and updated depending on whether a track has been prepared.

STEM wappu pesäpallo 26.4. 2pm -> @ Campus field

Matlu Pesäpallo Championship is here again!!! On Sunday, April 26 at 14:00, the campus field will once again host the battle to determine who really has control of the ball and a solid swing. In this lighthearted championship tournament, the teams competing are Ynnä, Linkki, Algo, Syrinx, Radikaali, and a joint team from Tiltti and Nano. The focus of the tournament is on good vibes and enjoying playing together. During the event, the winners of the “kostajaiset” will also be revealed, earning fame and glory. Anyone can join the games—no previous pesäpallo experience is required. There’s room on the field for both serious competitors and more casual, fun-focused players. If playing isn’t your thing, feel free to come watch, cheer, and enjoy the atmosphere. If you have your own pesäpallo equipment (gloves), it would be great if you could bring them along so everything runs smoothly and no games are held back due to lack of gear. There will be sausages grilling, provided by Loimu and TEK, and the spring campus setting offers the perfect frame for a shared Sunday ♨️☀️
