Vappusota w/ Algo 27.4. 5:30pm -> @ Megazone

Feeling annoyed, stressed, or just need to blow off some steam from the academic year? No worries — that’s exactly why we’re teaming up with Algo for a May Day battle! 💪

This year’s May Day battle will take place as a laser tag event at Megazone in Seppälä on Sunday, April 27th. The games start at 17:30, but please make sure to arrive at least 15 minutes early, i.e., by 17:15! The Megazone venue is reserved for our use for one hour. 🤩

If you haven’t tried laser tag before, no problem — the rules will be explained on-site, and all equipment is included in the ticket price. Just bring low-soled shoes such as sneakers or indoor sports shoes, a t-shirt (and preferably pants or a skirt), and a healthy competitive spirit! Dark clothing has been found to be a strategic advantage 👀

Sopokopo coffee appro 28.4. 10am - 3pm @ Association spaces

Have you always wondered, what other student associations’ lounge rooms look like? Now you have a great opportunity to find out, as Ynnä, Nano, Syrinx, Pörssi, Dumppi, Linkki, Algo ja Fyysikkokerho unite their powers for Sopokopo coffee appro. It’s time to shift the veil of mystery and come visit other student associations’ spaces and enjoy some wellbeing themed activities!

Sopokopo coffee appro takes place in the aforementioned student association’s lounge rooms. Each room has a different activity that must be completed to gain a stamp on the appro pass. Like the name of the event suggests, there’s also coffee and small snacks available. A pass with five (5) or more stamps can be exchanged for an overall patch, but please do visit all eight locations if time allows! There’s no set schedule or route you have to take.

The appro is on Tuesday 28.4. from 10AM to 3PM. You may choose where you want to pick up your appro pass when signing up for the event. The ticket sales open in kide.app on Monday 20.4. and end on Sunday 26.4. on the same week. The price of the ticket is 3 euros.

Saunasitsit w/ Nefa 28.4. klo 17 -> @ Opinkivi

Are you already longing for your summer cottage?

Now you have the chance to get a head start and dig out your cottage gear and swimsuits, because Linkki and Nefa are hosting a sit-down party on Tuesday, April 28, with a summer cottage theme 🌳☀️ Of course, a summer cottage isn’t complete without a sauna, so at the end of this sitsfest, we’ll stay to enjoy the sauna and hot tub together!🧖🏽🧖🏼‍♀️

Please bring your own food and drinks to the event!

Interdisciplinary Pitbull-party 28.4. at 10pm -> @ Freetime

HEY you, Pitbull-lover, are YOU ready for the fire party of Vappu? Would you like to get your bald hats and black sunglasses from the shelf from getting dusty? 😎 NOW is the possibility for that, because in this party we will get to enjoy PITBULL party and also it’s interdisciplinarity! Even if you are not the biggest Pitbull fan, come enjoy and party with us 🔥

Come there, enjoy with us and Give Me Everything! During the evening we will be listening to Mr. Worldwide’s biggest hits, for example “Timber”, “Fireball” and “Feel this moment” 🌎

The evening’s agenda will include heavy partying, theme related activities and of course Pitbull hype the whole evening 🤪

The ticket for the event will cost 4€ (+ Kide.app service charge). Student organisation’s ticket sales will start on 31th of March at 15:00 at Kide.app and is open til 10th of April to 15:00. If you didn’t get the ticket from that sale, don’t worry, general ticket sale will start on 13th of April at 15:00 and is open till 27th of April.

The event follows Varkaat ry’s registration guidelines, principles of safer space and the equality and non-discrimination program. Buying the ticket you have to follow these during the entire event. 💚

Lounassitsit 30.4. klo 12 - 16 @ Kauppalaisseuran sauna

Linkki’s traditional May Day lunch sitsfest will be held this year on Thursday, April 30, at the Kauppalaisseura sauna. The sistfest starts at 12:00 p.m. – please be there on time! The dress code is overalls and May Day attire. This is a BYOB and BYOF event—bring your own bottle and food! Tickets are €5 (includes seating only).

This party is a bit different from the usual ones—we’ll be keeping it casual and even have a munkki-eating contest!

The sitsit will be held at the Kauppalaisseura sauna, where the May Day sauna will also take place later in the evening.

Linkki’s traditional May Day sauna will once again be held at the Kauppalaisseura sauna on April 30 starting at 4:00 p.m. Linkki members are welcome to attend, and light refreshments will be served. Swimwear is required in the sauna!

Vappu picnic 1.5. from 12pm -> @ Harju

After the May Day Eve festivities, we’ll spend some quiet time at Harju for a picnic. There’s plenty to do at Harju, but just relaxing is welcome too.
