Fresher board game 7.9. at 4pm @ Ag Alfa

The first board game evening of Autumn is held on monday the 7th of september from 4pm to 8pm at Ag Alfa

Linkki will provide board games to play but you can also bring your own. Snacks and drinkswill also be available! Regardless of the name, all Linkki members are welcome to join!

Fresher sitsfest 8.9. at 5pm @ Boombox

If you don’t yet know where your fellow students are from, now is the perfect time to find out! For the Freshman Sitsfest, you get to dress in the style of your hometown. The theme is “Where Are You From?”, so dress freely and creatively, but try to represent your hometown or place of origin in your outfit.

Sitsit is an academic dinner party where we sing, eat and give not-so-rehearsed speeches. You don’t need to know the rules of sitsit before attending the Freshman Sitsfest, as they will be explained and learned during the event. However, one thing to remember before you arrive is that being late is frowned upon!

The Freshman Sitsfest will be held at Boombox on Seminaarinkatu on Monday, September 8th, starting at 5 PM. Make sure to arrive on time so you have enough time to find your assigned seat!

A new city, new people, and maybe a slightly questionable sense of direction…🙊 Autumn is here, and it’s time to find out where we all come from! 🌍

On Thursday, September 10th, we’re bringing together Jyväskylä’s newest faces, seasoned students and everyone in between. Whether it’s your first week in Jyväskylä or you’ve been calling the city home for years, tonight everyone finds their way to the same place. 🫶🏼

And what’s even better, @kauppakadunappro will be joining us! 🩷 This year there’s an extra reason to celebrate, as Kauppakadun Appro, which began in 1976, is turning an incredible 50 years old! 🎂 The anniversary celebrations will culminate on October 1st, when Jyväskylä’s legendary appro crowd takes over the city once again. 🪩

But before that, we’re warming up with Poikkarit. ❤️‍🔥 Show off your style, grab your friends and come show us WHERE YOU’RE FROM!

Maybe tonight you’ll find a new friend, a new favourite spot or even a new reason to call Jyväskylä home. ⭐️

Welcome to Autumn metro! - Ready to hop on board? 🚝💨

Syysmetro is a unique, appro-based, and interdisciplinary long-distance bar crawl. Our dashing and daring tour guides will lead us to the hidden gems of Central Finland, which are also known as village bars. However, we won’t be setting out on this journey alone, as our expedition will be joined by our friends Linkki, Ynnä, Syrinx, Algo, Radikaali, Lingviestit, and Magna Carta. Together, we’ll embark on a memorable fall adventure! 🍂

Tickets for the event are sold in two batches, so no worries if you can’t get tickets from your associations quota!

🎫 Subject association quotas will begin sale on monday 7.9. at 2pm and end on sunday 13.9. at 11:55pm!
