Interdisciplinary Crafts Night 28.9. 5pm - 8pm @ Ag B222.1 Gamma

Are you a knitting enthusiast who doesn’t know who you could gift yet another pair of socks or mittens, or do you just want to relax with crafts but have no idea what to knit? Or do you want to learn to knit

socks and mittens, but simply never got around to it? If that is the case, now is a great time to cast something on your needles and join other Linkeens in donating handmade knits to charity!

If you want some company while you knit, you are welcome to a crafts night on Mon 28.9. with a few other student associations! This is an excellent chance to get to know students from other fields

as well as share the joy of crafting with some small snacks on the side. If you are newer to knitting and need some help on getting started or for example knitting the heel of a sock, there will be some well experienced knitters who can help you figure it out!

Linkki is not an official collection point of the campaign, but don’t worry, you can still leave your donation through us! We collect linkeens’ donations at Kattila, where they will be picked up to be delivered to an official

collection point. If you want to leave your donation with us there, please do so by Wed 25.11. so we have time to deliver them before the campaign ends.

Kauppakadun Appro 1.10. at 4:30pm -> Jyväskylä

Kauppakadun Appro is one of the most tradtitional student events in Finland held in Jyväskylä. The event is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year too!

Kauppakadun Appro is the best way to kick off the schoolyear with your studymates!

START

The starting location for the Appro is the Lutakko harbor square, from where participants set off to complete their challenge at restaurants and bars throughout Jyväskylä.

A variety of entertainment is planned at the starting point to get everyone in the right mood for the Appro.

THE APPRO

The concept behind Kauppakadun Appro is based on the idea of playfully earning academic degrees by collecting completion stamps in the Appro Pass.

This is done by collecting stamps in the Appro Pass at pre-selected restaurants, bars, and other locations in downtown Jyväskylä. THE AFTERPARTY

The event culminates in the official afterparty at Paviljonki, where examiners evaluate the candidates’ performance.

At the afterparty, overalls patches corresponding to the degree earned are distributed in exchange for an Appropass. Headliners Minttu, Gettomasa, and Mikael Gabriel guarantee the best student experience in Finland.

STEM Football Tournament 3.10. from 11am @ Campus field

STEM Footbaal tournament is held on saturday th 3rd of October on the Campus field starting at 11am. This year participating associations are Linkki, Radikaali, Syrinx, Ynnä, Algo, Tiltti and Nano! Every association will play as their own team representing their association.

Form for joining Linkki’s team is linked below! Previous experience is not needed, only competitive spirit is required! Note! Please don’t come to play while intoxicated. The referee has the right to remove players from the field! Also, remember to leave your cleats with metal studs at home.

If football isn’t your cup of tea, you can also come and support Linkki’s team and enjoy the sports-filled atmosphere!

The tournament rules will be released closer to the tournament.
